HENNA SERVICES
Inspired by the beautiful works of art in Asian and Middle Eastern countries throughout history, henna has now become an art form practiced throughout the world. It is a highlight to any social gathering. Having henna applied to the body uplifts moods, relaxes and calms the body, and can be a very meditative and memorable experience.
We only use high quality natural henna that stains a reddish brown color. We NEVER use black henna which contains a toxic chemical that can harm the body. Our henna is great for adults as well as children.
Weddings, Bridal Showers & Bachelorette Parties: Bridal services include a free 30 minute consultation at our studio where you can preview hundreds of bridal henna patterns, get a time estimate, receive a sample henna design, and address any other concerns. Henna work for the bride should be scheduled 2-3 days before the wedding for best results.
Children and Teen Events, Proms, Birthdays & Graduations- The ancient art of henna is safe and fun for young children and teens! Children’s events can be mixed with face painting as well as henna. We are highly experienced with kids of all ages.
Pregnancy & Baby Showers - Celebrate pregnancy with a henna party. Traditionally, the mom-to-be has her hands or feet decorated, but designs on your belly make this event very memorable! Meditative for the mom-to-be and fun and entertaining for the guests!
Holidays- Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha, Bar & Bat Mitzvah, etc.- Traditional Eastern holidays are not the same without henna. Bring the rituals back into your holiday!
Corporate Events: Company Celebrations, Company Picnics, Holiday Parties, Fundraisers, Tradeshows, etc. - Celebrate your success or promotions by adding a fun and entertaining “art of henna” ritual to your event.
Henna for Hair- Henna is very healthy for the hair and gives it added shine and strength. We do hair coloring and touch-up as well as eyebrow/eyelash coloring and eyebrow lining. Color tones vary from light orange to burgandy.
Individual henna work- We welcome private appointments at our studio. The prices range from $3 for a quarter size design to $25 and above for full hands. Average lower back designs range from $10-$20. The designs are priced according to intricacy and amount of work. We have thousands of designs to choose from and custom designs are also welcome.
Henna designs last 1-3 weeks and sometimes longer!
Party rates for all henna events are $80/hr. (1-hour min. local and 2-hour min. for all other areas.) We are able to do over 20 small designs per hour and 12-15 small to medium designs per hour.(Prices are based on local Portland-Metro area events. Please call or e-mail for out-of-area rates.)
Other Services
Face Painting- Make your child’s event extra special with what they love…face painting! Full face, half face and cheek designs available with glitter and gems. We use very unique techniques to finish the final painted artwork! The rates range from $2 for a cheek design to $8 and $10 for detailed full face work. Party rates for face painting are $60 per hour.
Volunteer Services- We volunteer our services for charitable and educational events to promote safe and healthy forms of body decoration.
Henna Classes- Learn the secrets of the henna art that no one tells you about! These classes are great for those interested in learning the art form themselves, whether it is for personal reasons or business.
